This notice explains how Zenre Ltd(“we”) handles personal data. We are the data controller for the information described below.

Who we are

What we collect and why

If you join our waitlist we collect the name, email address and any details you choose to give us about your property, so that we can contact you about early access. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

If you become a customer, or are a tenant or contractor connected to a property we manage, we process the information needed to deliver that service — including tenancy, payment, maintenance and compliance records. Our lawful basis is performance of a contract, and compliance with our legal obligations as a property manager.

Automated processing

We use automated tools, including AI, to help with tasks such as classifying a submitted document, suggesting who is responsible for a reported repair, or drafting a first response to a query. A member of our team reviews and confirms the outcome before anything is finalised. We do not make decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you based solely on automated processing.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only where necessary to run our service, and we do not sell it. Depending on the service involved, this can include:

• hosting and database providers who run our systems;
• our email provider, to send you messages relating to our service;
• our voice AI and messaging providers, where a call or WhatsApp message forms part of how we deliver our service;
• AI providers, to carry out the automated processing described above;
• error-monitoring tools, to help us find and fix problems;
• contractors attending a property we manage; and
• authorities or schemes where the law requires it.

International transfers

Some of the providers listed above are based, or process data, outside the UK — including in the United States. Where this happens, we rely on a legally recognised transfer mechanism, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, to keep your data protected to UK standards.

Cookies

We use only strictly necessary cookies on this site — for example, to keep you signed in. These are essential for the site to work and cannot be switched off. We do not currently use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking.

Keeping it

We keep waitlist details until you ask us to remove them or until we close the waitlist. Records relating to a tenancy or to tax are kept for as long as the law requires, normally six years.

Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. Email us to exercise any of these. If you no longer want to receive marketing emails from us, you can unsubscribe using the link in any such email, or by emailing us directly. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
